Chasing the Dreams of the King, Blade of the Raging Waves Saga: Drifting on the Sand Sea Arc

As Elesmirit watched the events transpire about her as she attempted to compose herself. Watching a bit more closely as her thoughts regained themselves. After they had gone into the ship, Elesmirit took a look at the newspaper and the bounties, a bit annoyed at the fact that they spelled her name wrong.

She created a clone a moment later, handing the news and wanted posters over to the clone with the job of informing the crew what she had discovered. She herself went to collect the documents from her room to read and brief them.

Walking into the galley, the clone saw the scenes and walked over to the blank wall, hanging up the new posters and then turned to the rest of them and cleared her throat.

"Elesmirit has told me to inform you of the recent events and an update on our bounty status as she goes to collect the other information from her room, also apologizing for her actions. Now the news thus far is~

Hugo Deppsong was executed at Banero Island

And our Bounty update is:

125 mil Beri Yuki “Demon Whispers” Nanashi

115 mil Beri Featherwing Elsemirit

~to our annoyance they spelled our name wrong~

70mil Beri Veil “Hikami” Miya

12 mil Beri Feather D. Triake

40 mil Beri “Turncoat” Katarina

And also a very important question I must ask you Captain is if I may examine your back, as we left the last ship, Black was glowing.”

As the clone finished her statement, Elesmirit walked in, “I see you informed them?” She asked her clone as it looked over at her from the doorway.

Triake looked over his shoulder and was about to say something a slight smile on his face but then as he heard Elesmirit speak and knowing it to be a clone, his smile vanished and he decided not to say anything. It felt a bit cold to him to send a copy of herself to talk to them. That was not the only thing to sour his mood, apparently his bounty had dropped. This caused Nanashi to laugh hysterically while Miya’s fist tightened in anger. “How do they justify that?” She said. “You were the one who got us off that ship, you beat a marine captain from Roger’s day. Twelve million beri!? What a joke?!” This caused Nanashi to splutter a little.

"What are you talking about? I thought one of those women." She motioned to Elesmirit and the clone. "Dealt with that heshe womanman thing. Her’s is the only bounty close to mine, it doesn’t make sense that twelve over here did anything but faint." Nanashi regained her self-confident smirk. Katarina glanced at her.

"You say this but his Haki had you drooling on the floor." Nanashi’s cheeks reddened at this comment. "It’s his name, his family have influential people in the marines, they are probably keeping his bounty low. Considering the people I’ve heard he brought in, that bounty is too low." Katarina said, still holding the cloth full of ice in her mouth.

"Oh, so Turncoat what bounty would you give him?” Nanashi seemed to take pleasure in seeing Katarina flinch.

"I’d say his bounty is easily above ninety million, and that without taking his devil fruit into consideration." Katarina glanced at Triake who was looking back at her. "From what I’ve seen, I’d give him 190 million. His fruit is probably a legendary fruit. Comparable to Marco or X-Drake." Nanashi gaped at Triake. "Also he is the captain, so that would also explain him having a high bounty… unless he was just a figurehead." The word seemed to echo.

"I like him as Eye candy." Miya chimed in cheerfully. That word also echo. Triake finished bandaging Miya’s feet, then he sat and pouted. "Aww, Triake don’t be like that, eye candy is not bad." She chuckled before something Elesmirit said struck her. "Can see that paper?" She asked as she reached out, suddenly a paper that was hidden in the stack fell out. It was another bounty.

Kite Wolf Filu - 15 million Beri

Triake’s head smacked into the table while Filu howled.

(Can you take control of Nanashi from now on please?)

Elesmirit walked over to her clone then walked through it as she formed back with it. So found herself growing more and more annoyed with Nanashi before she heard her get cut down to size.

She glanced over at Katarina, surprised with the bounty that she proposed before speaking up, “Well I think that to be a more honorable price for our beloved Captain’s head than 12 mil~

As she saw Filu’s poster fall from the stack and Triake’s reaction, she hung her head, “Sorry Captain…. I didn’t want to let you know that. I kinda thought it would be rubbing salt in the wound….”

She went and picked it up off of the ground, giving Filu a little pet before walking over to the wall and hanging up Filu’s then went to her poster and hung her old one up over it, though grabbing a pair of scissors from her pocket and cutoff a part of it so the bounty was current but her name was covered. “There, much better….”

Nanashi gave a mocking scoff, “Aww…. Is your name a touchy subject, Elsemrit?" she smirked, crossed arms as she sat in a reclined position.

Not even a second later a fresh cut appeared on Nanashi’s cheek as an Ice spear stuck in the floor behind her.

"Do not. Mock the name my mother gave me." Her voice was cold and filled with menace. Her voice echoing with it’s watery wrath, she herself was giving a look to her that could kill if they could. Though her body language was as if she hadn’t moved to even throw the spear. “The accident of getting my name wrong after only hearing it once; is fine, purposely mocking it…. I will not forgive easily.

Nanashi touched her cheek and stood up, giving Elesmirit a threatening look. “Is that a challenge?” she dared, taking a half step forward after she saw the blood on her fingertips.

(Sure)

As the conversation soon turned to an argument, it seemed like there was going to be a full on physical confrontation. As Triake was about to say something, there was a strong burst of Haoushoku Haki that he felt to his bones. Katarina’s head hit the table as Miya fell to the side on her booth seat. Triake looked and saw that both Nanashi and Elesmirit were unconscious as well, even though they were still standing. Triake looked about and saw Filu in her half wolf half kite form, looking much like a strange species of griffon, simply smiling wolfishly. “Filu… that wasn’t very nice.” Triake said lightly, not able to hide a smile from his own features.

"But but you did it Papa, to stop the fight earlier." Filu said, her smile wavering a little.

"I only took out the one causing trouble… Ah" He beckoned her over, when she moved towards him, he rubbed her head and gave her a piece of meat from his plate. She accepted this hungrily and smiled. "Good girl! You did well, let’s eat while the sleepyheads wake up." Filu barked and went to her plate to eat.

After awhile, Elesmirit regained consciousness; realizing that she was still standing, she took a look around the galley. She noticed Triake sitting at a table with a very smug looking Filu sitting beside him. She quickly put two and two together, realizing that it was Filu that had used the Haki on them.

"That was yours, Filu?" she spoke up finally as she slowly made her way over to them, "I didn’t realize that you could use it too." she lightly praised the Kite-Wolf.

She then looked over at Triake before looking around to see if no one was looking(seeing none) before she walked over and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, “I’m sorry for my actions Feather, I knew I shouldn’t have acted like that… I’ll try not to do it again.” She spoke, hugging him a little closer. “With your permission though I’d like to do a little sprucing up to The Ocean’s Destiny if you don’t mind it though….” she added.

Getting dragged along he didn’t know what to say.

As the monkey girl lead the three into the forest, a bit deeper in the came to a tribal camp. The camp seemed as if it had been there for many years, adapting and embracing the changes of the ages as time passed. Quite a few of the homes actually being built into the trees.

Elesmirit watched as the girl took off into one of the cozy looking homes and came out with an older Monkey-man. Age clear in his appearance as a few wrinkled bags drooped under his eyes, slightly hunched back and using a walking stick to come towards them, his clothing indicating that he was the chief.

Hello fair travelers, I hear that you have come to visit our people? Though I cannot say that we welcome many visitors in….Hard times, but if you are here to help, then we shall welcome you happily." He spoke with a thick accent before noticing Drinaug behind the two of them, "I would advise you friend, not to drink the water, other Alkolk have drank the water here and become ill, unfortunately one of them was our shaman." He shakes his head sadly, "If you wish to see them you may, though it seems that it is only the Alkolk that are being effected, so if you thirst, you are welcome to drink the water. Though, seeing your clothes" he looked back at Elesmirit after looking at Ducaine,"You may wish to try your hand at healing them, you may have some success where we have failed.

He looked to Elesmirit. “This could be a chance to find a cure .”

Elesmirit looked  between the chief and Ducaine, then a now unnerved Drinaug. “This would…. Ducaine, would you go and collect a sample of the water for me? Use this?” She suggested as she took out a phial from behind her.

It was a small glass phial shaped like a dewdrop and had a raised design of an elegant fish wrapping around it, its tail-fin was the cork.

"I, on the other-hand, will take a quick look at the patients, hopefully I can lessen its effects or relieve them of it all together….Drinaug, play nice." She smiled, though there was a warning as well as suggestion in her eyes as it was given.

Heading out to the water he found a young one following him. Taking some of the water he looked at her. She had to be at least 6. “How are you little one?”

She cocked her head at him, a little monkey child, she looked up at him in awe and gave a big grin. She skittered towards him, examining the phial in his hands and smiling up at him. “Whn….” she started before mumbling, getting shy that he asked and talked to her.

Picking her up he put her on his shoulder. “how about a ride little one? I bet you can see your village from here.”

The little monkey child let out a squeak as she was being lifted up, grabbing onto his head.  She let out a bit more of a squeak as she swung her legs about, her tail coming out of hiding behind her.

Elesmirit stood in the hut where the Alkolk patients were, examining the closest one to her and going over everyone who was ill to see if they had the same symptoms.

"What’s your name?"

"…."She was quiet a moment, tail swinging behind her before she spoke, " Grinli(green-lee)…." She hummed, tail swinging happily.
